As a mother of five girls, one of the most dreaded tasks is having to take out their hair elastic bands. I found myself struggling every day, ripping their hair and causing them unnecessary pain. Years of damaging my girls’ hair led me to find a way to make it all easier. I sat down one night, brainstorming different ideas for getting hair elastics out as easily as possible. That’s when I came up with The Pony Pick.

The Pony Pick is an easy-to-use tool that helps get those painful hair elastics out without any damage. It works by slipping the band off your ponytail like a scissor, without having to tug at your hair.  I designed the tool with my kids in mind; to be simple and safe at the same time. The blade that cuts through the elastic is tucked away very securely, so it won't cut any little fingers. The tool also has a pointed edge so that you can menuver through the elastic and the hair as easy as possible.
