Lauren or Lolly as her family lovingly calls her is a lover of hair elastics and fun braids.  As a mother of five girls, one of her most dreaded tasks was having to take out their hair elastic bands. She found herself struggling every day, ripping their hair and causing them unnecessary pain. Years of damaging her girls’ hair led her to find a way to make it all easier. She sat down one night, brainstorming different ideas for getting hair elastics out as easily as possible. That’s when she came up with The Pony Pick by Lolly!

The Pony Pick is an easy-to-use tool that helps get those painful hair elastics out without any damage. It works by slipping the band off your ponytail like a scissor, without having to tug at your hair.  She designed the tool with my kids in mind; to be simple and safe at the same time. The blade that cuts through the elastic is tucked away very securely, so it won't cut any little fingers. The tool also has a pointed edge so that you can maneuver through the elastic and the hair as easily as possible.
